Started in 1973, Union Station Homeless Services is the San Gabriel Valley's largest and most comprehensive social service agency assisting those experiencing homelessness and low income. Their mission, as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, is to end homelessness through housing solutions, supportive services, and connection to community.

The Sheriff's Support Group of Altadena is a non-profit 501(c)3 service group whose purpose is to promote positive community understanding and assist the Altadena Sheriff's Department with monetary and volunteer services that are not available from the County of Los Angeles. As a small, community-led organization, they currently do not have much of an online presence. You can learn more about the Sheriff’s Station below.

Pasadena Humane serves as a critical lifeline for pets impacted by the Eaton Fire in the Altadena, Pasadena and surrounding areas. They are a 501(c)3 committed to providing care and resources to support the community during this unprecedented emergency, including providing emergency boarding for lost pets whose families have been evacuated and offering free pet food and supply pickup to affected pet owners in the community daily.
